How to Check Certification
There are 3 main Test & Balance Certification Organizations.

Each of these organizations maintain 3 levels of certification:

We have seen paperwork from those performing test & balance services who did not even have the technician level certification for Test & Balance, but provided a certification number for Fire Damper Inspection. We are also aware of a firm that advertised being certified by one of these organizations, but only had a certified technician reviewing paperwork. Always check certification to ensure that you have a qualified firm.
