Integrity and Independence − We are an independent company providing test & balance services free from conflicts of interest. We cherish our integrity and know that solving problems as early as possible is to everyone’s benefit. We are committed to submitting truthful reports of measured data. If we are unable to provide a measurement, we document our reasons. If we rely on calculations, we explain how we calculated our data.
Communication − Our technicians utilize a field tool that syncs with the cloud based report software. They record their readings as they take them, and then sync as needed using mobile internet connections. Our software allows pictures to be added to deficiencies for more issue clarity. Our reports are clear and concise, and we have multiple ways to display measurements. Our TAB professionals are able to review daily as the TAB work is completed. Our TAB professionals and technicians provide thoughtful comments regarding out of tolerance items or measurements that may indicate potential issues. We are quick to respond to inquiries for quotes, report questions, and scheduling. We would love to talk to you about your project.

Our firm is NEBB certified and led by a licensed Professional Engineer. In order to maintain our credentials and just because we love balancing, we attend ASHRAE, NEBB, and other educational programs to keep up with the changes in HVAC industry. We take our knowledge and put it to work on our projects.

Firm’s History
BPI Testing, LLC was started on December 31, 2009 by Elizabeth Blankenship, P.E.. She purchased the assets of Balancing Precision, Inc. from John Brue, P.E.. Brue started Brue Engineering in 1975 and entered the Air & Water Test & Balance Industry during its infancy. Brue Engineering eventually became Balancing Precision, Inc. John Brue was recognized as an industry leader and shared authorship of Testing, Adjusting & Balancing Bureau (TABB) Manual.
BPI Testing, LLC also obtained recognition from Illinois’ CMS Business Enterprise Program (BEP) as a Women Business Enterprise (WBE)
